i'm new to the forum and i'm in desperate need of help. I installed everything correclty through FTP and when i go to the control panel, it asks me for my info, so i enter it, but when i click on "configure your ubb! now", i get this error message.


Software error:
Unable to open vars_config.cgi file for writing. at D:\server\ca\cgi-bin\ubbcgi/ubb_setup.cgi line 135.
For help, please send mail to this site's webmaster, giving this error message and the time and date of the error.


can anyone help ?
