I use a bit of a dinosaur version: UBB 5.45b and still we find it a remarkably intuitive virtual machine. Our users also love it.

Recently I tried to modify the register_lib.pl file with additional wording in a text message with bad results, so I replaced it by uploadeding the original register_lib.pl

Everything is back to normal, except now everytime there is a new registration I get two email notifications. I can live with it, but if there is a fix I have some knowledge of cgi and other code and would like to try.

Any suggestions?

hm, that's kinda strange... i don't know why it would be related like that... if you'd like, you can fill out a support ticket and our team would be more than happy to take a look...

Maybe it is something else that I did and doesn't have anything to do with this file.

Bottom line is everything works fine except that I get two copies of the registration notifications. Also, two copies of moderator notifications when I use the same screen name as a moderator. No other moderators or email systems seems affected.
