HI everyone, I have a Groupee community and was wondering if it can be backed up or the database be exported and then imported into another forum software that runs with MySQL? I was told no that I cannot do this.

You can back up your database in 2 different ways.

1) In your DirectAdmin panel click the "site Backup" icon, on the right hand side. You can opt for just the database or the whole site. This will place the backup in the backup directory. Use the file manager to access and download it.

2) In your DirectAdmin panel click the "MySQL Databases" icon, second from the right. Create a user if you don't already have one, then use phpmyadmin to make a database dump.

You may want to know that we make a full backup of your website, every night,

I recomend this way... it's much easier.
