reply to james-schmeling@uiowa.edu[mailbot@buzzcast.com] is the from line and reply to line in the e-mail. I have it set in my mailing list to have james-schmeling@uiowa.edu for the from and reply to addresses and the ignore subscriber replies set to "no" but I can't get any replies to my e-mail?

Help please?

Thanks!
James

Can you remove the [mailbot...] portion and check that again.

The "mailbot" portion is not in the from or return to lines in the buzzcast interface, only in the e-mail that I receive.

This is still an issue - I don't know what other information I need to provide, but I cannot receive replies from subscribers. While I note in the bottom of every e-mail that this function is broken on Buzzcast's end and does not work, I still get people that reply instead of sending an e-mail.

I'd appreciate a response and some troubleshooting. Thanks.

Most likley the best way to have a look at this would be to open up a Trouble Ticket on the subject.

If you could choose the "Software Difficulties" ticket that would be ideal.

This still has not been resolved. I did do a trouble ticket, but I don't see anything related to that sent to me. Any thoughts?

Or is it time to look for a new service? I can't really have users not able to return e-mail, and both I and Infopop look damn stupid if I put in a statement in each campaign that says "Due to a bug in Infopop's product you cannot reply to this e-mail." Most users won't read that anyway, and if they do they won't bother to make changes manually.

No, Sir - you are correct. I have fixed this problem and we should be deploying this patch next week - hopefully toward the beginning of the week. From this point forward the format will look more like this:

If you DO want subscriber replies:

From: you@yourdomain.com
Return Path: you@yourdomain.com

If you DO NOT want subscriber replies:

From: mailbot@buzzcast.com
Return Path: devnull@buzzcast.com

We have implemented far more formal QA procedures for the product and once we deploy the HTML/Text message and Email reply to bugs, we will start on several others as well.

Again - thank you for your patience smile
