on the subscriber signup, can you use the survey results to send targeted emails to a particular group? i'm new to buzzcast, so starting from scratch...
can you send to specific interest categories?
on the opt-in, what info is requested? just the email address? or name also? when does the survey show up?

The subscriber sign up occurs on the way in to the registration sign up I believe. I should build a test list so that you can see what it's like

Based on the answers the application cannot choose a specific list for that user. The List itself needs to be specific at the time of it's creation so you would want to do the screening on your own site and then have the end-result page have one of several of your lists on it. Perhaps those pages on your site are the "Gross" qualifiers and the survey on buzzcast can be used to determine specific qualities of your users.

Opt-In requires only a username and password be generated one time to join your list. Thereafter that user has established themselves as a "Buzzcast User" and can manage his or her account on the system and unsubscribe or suspend his or her registrations at will.

No names are required at any time.
