Can someone please help me here.

Back on Oct. 24, Brett told me this:

Our customers are continuing to receive emails mroe than 24 hours after we send them. I continue to tell them "buzzcast is working on this" and it's getting ugly now.

A "breaking news" email update that arrive 24 hours after the newspaper reports it is useless. And it will very likely have a dramatic financial impact on our business. (We are a fantasy football information service. No gambling or anything remotely shady)

PLEASE respond to this so we can decide how to proceed.

We are doing a variery of things to improve overall performance on the Buzzcast mail delivery. We are looking at upgrades of mail software, our software, and machines. Essentially all of the components of the Buzzcast system. What we don't want to do is rush to a decision that will leave us in a worse place than we are right now.

Thanks Barry. I'm glad you guys are looking at it. How long do you think it'll take to look at it this? This was brought up back on October 24.

For today, what kind of time frame can I expect for the mail to be delivered to all my customers? Again, we stand to lose a significant amount of revenue with the mail not being delivered in the timeframe promised.

Joe,

I made some application changes which I believe have speeded up the amount of mail going through the queue - if you would put in a Technical Question Support Ticket for me when you mail your next batch and let me know how many are in it I will monitor the mail queue and we can determine how my changes impacted delivery times.

Barry and I are working on the application and the compontents at this time to assure performance all the way around.

I can't answer that with any kind of quantifiable time.

Until I see how many go on the queue and watch how fast we go through them - as I mentioned we are pushing them out quite a bit faster than previously due to some software changes.
