I have a lot of "pendings" in my mail list. Do people have to respond to a buzzcast message to become active? I thought if they submitted their e-mail address they automatically became "active". Would appreciate refresher on how this works. Thanks.

I believe that once they sign up they have to click on a link to confirm that they really did sign up themselves.

Imports are pretty straightforward - boom, they are in.

Once we create a manageable account for them, however, they have to activate their account.

Why don't I register on your list and see what I get?

Check the URL that you are using to let folks sign up - I want to make sure that it's correct..

Yep - that all checked out - users have to click the link to confirm and if the HTML client they have breaks it then they need to paste it all together correctly so that they can confirm.
