Ok, I am not to html savy or anything so this may be a stupid question. When I create an email, I have certain fonts that I will use to make stuff stand out. And I will have the email all set upo and looking good, and I will send it out. But then when I get it in my inbox, the font is no where on the email, and its just this generic crappy looking font. Any clue as to what is going on? thanks

Are you viewing it on a different computer? You cannot embed fonts in an HTML page, so if you specify a non-generic font, and the user viewing the page does not have that font installed on their computer, they will see a generic one.
Two options you can go with: 1) Insert the text as an image, not as actual text (in other words, create a graphic that uses the font). 2) Assuming the fonts you are using are freeware and not commercial, you could zip them up and have your subscribers download and install the fonts, so your campaigns will look correct. |
