Are the infopop servers banned from AOL. I get a 550 error when I try to to send to aol on your servers.

I don't think this qualifies as a cool tool or tip.

At any rate, what do you mean by a 550 error? What happens when you send to them? Does the email bounce back to you with an error or is the error generated somewhere else?

A 550 error means you are trying to send mail through a server without authentication.

Can you describe what you are doing or how you are causing the error? And how it differes when you send to an address not on AOL?

I sent aol emails with outlook useing your server and I recieved a 550 and when I sent the same mail using my provider it went thru.

Well, that's closer to what I'm looking for but not quite. Let me restate the question again.

Did you send emails to aol users using an aol from address? Or using your Infopop email address?

Have you sent email using our server before? Using the same from address?
