That would be cool if you could take a search string, add say a &rss=true on the end and have it spit out an RSS stream that could be used in the various readers etc.

An interesting idea.

For the record, if you were so inclined, you could probably do some magic on your own.

This is not for the faint of heart (or programming skill):

• Grant the 'View Eve XML' right to guests (this may pose a problem if you require registration to post or search).
  
• Create a PHP/Perl script to GET a URL from eve that you want to make an RSS feed for, and append '&o=x' to the end of the url.
  
• Using the XML you just grabbed, transform it into RSS using XSL.
  

As I said, this is not for everyone, and may be more work than its worth, but the option is there.

I've been trying to just scrape the results and spit out RSS, getting close but its a little ugly right now.

We are looking at the best way to add RSS feeds to the ubb.x/Eve application, just so you know.

That would be very cool. I can think of all kinds of uses. Allowing users to subscribe to an RSS feed (even pay for them via Thrive) so they can watch a particular thread remotely, see new posts, having a news or instructional thread, even a feed of just a particular users posts. My earlier suggestion was based on how you could add a variable to a content island link and see the HTML code for checking CSS. Seems like that would be an easy 'trick' to have eve spit out rss instead of the regular page.
