WOULD DISABLING PHOTO ALBUMS IN EACH SPECIFIC FORUM CAUSE THAT FORUM TO ACCEPT ATTACHTMENTS? I WAS NOT ALLOWING ATTACHMENTS AND I DISABLED PHOTO ALBUMS AND OUT OF NO WHERE THE ATTACHMENT BUTON SHOWED UP

I've done some testing, and disabling photo albums in one of my forums that didn't have attachments enabled didn't make it show up.

You can turn off photo albums on this page:
Eve CP > Specific Forums > (Name of Forum) > Forum Basics: Accepted E-Post Types

The area of the control panel that allows you to set whether not attachments are available is here:

Eve CP > Specific Forums > (Name of Forum) > Posting Settings: Attachments

I'd check this setting to make sure the option to add attachments is deselected.
