Hi there -- our business folks have seen a feature on other non-Groupee boards which they'd like us to add to ours. They've seen a board where on each individual Forum page, if you mouse over the title of each thread, you get pop-up text which gives you the first 50-100 words of the first post in the thread.

Here's a sample of the HTML from the other board:

<td class="alt1Active" id="t79024" title="Here is the first sentence in the post....>
<A href="..">Title of the Thread</A>

When you mouse over the Title in the link above, you get the little yellow box IE popup which gives you the text in the title tag. It's like the text in an ALT tag for an image.

This seems like something maybe somebody else has already hacked together -- am I right? If not, is this even doable?

This is not doable without extensive customization. A level of customization that would require a Groupee Developer to implement.
