In the future.... Are you considering an easy way for developers and end users to ad Blocks and Modules as done in phpNuke?

I know you are trying to keep things VERY stable in not introduce problems --- which by the way you do an AWESOME job of keeping things up, running and reliable!

I was thinking that on a page like this --> http://community.infopop.net/eve
It just seems natural to allow for admin configurable content blocks so we can easly post information or multiple content islands without have to manage pages outside of eve.

As for the Modules or functional code blocks you could consider a "Infopop Certified" concept. That would allow more development to occur but you would still control the quality and be able to keep your environment stable. If it's not Infopop Certified then it does not showup as an option.

Just thought I would offer some MORE thoughts... I think I have more posts here than I do in my own forums!!!

It would be nice to allow the use of blocks and allow us to choose which are of eve we would like them to appear on. Phpnuke has a good idea there, but I would like to stick with eve so I don't have to worry about security patches requiring installaton.

This whole "e-zine" or whatever they are talking about....is there a sample somewhere? PHPbb.com has an area51.phpbb.com that allows users to see some of what they are working on. It is more of a tease than anything, because they have been working on the same project for a long time, but it gives those that use phpbb hope that some better stuff is on the horizon.

How about any area for those that pay for eve. You already know who we are because I would think that something would be flagged within the eve system to show that we are admins of an eve site. How about an area for those that are admins of an eve site to see the blog, magazine thing and other stuff that you are working on?
