I've already got a membership system that controls access to our content site, and don't want to change that. It runs on a separate server (ASP). I'd like to automatically have members added to my Eve forums when they are set up on my content site.

I made a copy of the Eve admin "Members / Registration Settings / New Registration" page on my own site, stripping out a lot of the non-essentials. I can add members using this form, and it's working fine.

Now, I'd like to be able to have this form posted "invisibly" as part of the new member setup process. Can anyone offer advice on how I might do this? I know there's an MSXML component that accomplishes something similar for my PayPal IPN script, but have no idea how it works. Is this a sensible approach, or is there an easier way?

Thanks, Rory

The issue will be supplying credentials with your automatic system. Right now your form request includes your cookie/session information. That is very difficult to do programatically.

Please put in a support ticket and ask for it to be forwarded to me. I have a few suggestions that I'll make there and let you know wabout some of the pitfalls too.

An interesting project!!
