Hi everyone, first time poster. So please take it easy on me Smile

Im trying to rename my PowerButtons (Go, New, Find, etc) across the top. I would assume that I would change the value of the wordlet XSL_TAB_'X'. That has proven not to be the case. Can anyone help me? I saw a post where I learned to hide a button all together with a style, but Im not sure if I can use that to change the value of the text.

Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

You were on the right track. Those are the XSL_TAB_ wordlets. Try again and if they don't take, put in a support ticket.

I am having the same problem, with a number of wordlets, not just the PowerButtons. Some changes show up on the site and some don't. I have put in a support ticket.

Mkobus, what answer did you get from tech support? Was the problem solved?

I bleive that updating the wordlets will clear the cache of all pages using it, but it might be worth a cache clear to be safe... Its possible that you may be looking at a cached page.

Chris I responded to your ticket a bit ago. It looks like the Powerbuttons have updated with your changes.

Try clearing your browsers cache and see if they have updated.

If you are still not seeing them as they should be please let me know in the Support ticket.

Thanks,

ChrisH,
I never put in a ticket to support. I found that even after clearing my cache that I was having the same problem. Seems like time was the only way to solve this problem. Sometimes an update seemed to take 10-15 minutes before it took effect.

Thanks for letting me know. That was my solution too: sometimes it takes as much as an hour for the update to go through. I did put in a support ticket, but by the time they looked at the page, the problem had solved itself.

That is very odd. I cant think of why it would take that long for a wordlet change to show up. Does the update coincide with a new post? This would be a good bug to scope out for a fix.

No, it doesn't seem to coincide with a new post (my site is not live yet).

It does seem to depend on the number of wordlets I change. After I change about 20, the updates seem to start taking longer. What's strange is that at that point a few additional changes will show up immediately, but most take longer. So what I've been doing is logging off for a couple of hours, to wait for all to take effect, before I go back in and make more changes. That has been working.

I do not think it is a browser cache problem. I've tried clearing it, and even restarting my computer, but get the same result.

That is truly bizzare, when I get a momment I will have to check out the code to see if I can find anything that would explain this.

Cheers,
