What Lori told me, apparently, applies only for a "topic row limit" for the entire forum.

The forum "user" is unable to select, for his own preference, either 100, 150 or 200 topics per web page.

I asked the question (which you are unable to answer), if the Groupee/Infopop Forum Software could be customized, so that an individual user could select from 50, 100, 150 or 200 topics per web page.

Hopefully, someone knowledgable with the Groupee Forum Software, can answer this question.

Theoretically, this sort of an adjustment could be customized. If you were going to have Groupee do the customization, the community would have to be under a business class plan:

There are also third-party programmers who create modifications to the software. Although Groupee doesn't support their products, you may be able to find something useful:

Finally, posting this suggestion here is a great idea, as it may show up in a future release of the product.

Thanks for the helpful links and info for "adding" a viewer selectable "Topic Row Limit" to the Groupee/Infopop Forum software.

I'm not certain that the OGR On-Line Forum would consider this "customization", not knowing the costs or the implications that future revisions/updating of the Groupee Community Forum software would have.

I do think that Groupee Community should make the viewer selectable "Topic Row Limit" a top priority in the next "upgrade" or revision of their Forum software.

I have visited other forums where the "topic row limit" was set at 25...   and, boy, what a nuisance that is!!!   ... having to click page after page to find a "topic" that was only posted 14 hours ago!!

Groupee Community Forum software should offer a viewer selectable "Topic Row Limit" of 25, 50, 100, 150, or 200 topics per single web page.

This would:

a. be the perfect compromise for all Groupee Forum Administrators attempting to satisfy users of both dialup and broadband connections.

and

b. eliminate the anxiety of those forum posters who believed that "my post" was deleted, when in reality, it was subjugated to a lessor page (page 2, 3, 4 etc. etc.).

The customization option that Paul mentioned would be supported by Groupee Community, and as such would be upgraded with the code. The entire point of the Groupee Community Customization packages is that we support them fully. Meaning that we will test them along with all the other features as new versions are released.

We will keep this in mind for potential features revisions.
