I would like to add a “Rate it” button next to “discuss”, “email” and “print” on our front page.

I want readers to be able to rate topics outside the discussion thread. They may have to register to do that but they must go back to rate topic. Is there a script I can use for this purpose?

If you dig into the HTML for the forum page you could probably extract the Javascript source and div HTML for the little Rate Div that pops up from the Rate It link in the forums. Using that you should be able to add the exact same functionality to your main page.

It will take a chunk of work to do, but its definitely do-able.
