I would like to include something like "free service" to this page so when new prospects click to log in they don't get scared off by thinking it's a pay site. Anyone know where (exactly) this page resides?

you can't actually edit the page itself. i would recommend changing the Wordlet for the phrase "You need to be logged in to perform the action you requested." to read something like: "You need to be logged in to perform the action you requested. This site is a free service - please register or log in below."

if you want to do that, go into your control panel and to Eve>>Display>>Settings. click the "Wordlets" tab. then, search for a string like "perform the action", and it should bring up that phrase and allow you to make this change.
