I am both a new user and administrator for my community. I want to add URL links or attachments to topics that members will respond to when they enter the community. I can read manuels, but it is not intuitive to me to make the correct steps on the CP to do this. Anyone have a non-complicated procedure for me?

Do you mean posts? You want new users to respond to particular posts when they join?

If so, you can feature them. (Admin tab, Manage Topic)

Specifically,

In our community, I will post specific educational situations which members will respond to through clarifying questions or adding their knowledge about the topic. Included with that scenario, I want to add web links or attachments for them to access for further information. Its easy to do this if I am a user responding, but as the administrator, putting the original scenario on the board, I want to check if there is a clear way to do this. I know there is a way, I am no techie. Thanks,
