Our in-house application tracks software issues to completion. We are creating release notes, issue resolutions, etc within this application and I would like to be able to submit these electronically. Is there a way to this?

You can use the Instant Topic API (see documentation). THis allows you to create a "discuss it link programmatically for any number of topics, stories, catalogue entries etc. All that is requires is an unique id wghich you create.

If the dicussion exists that is associated with the unique ID thne the "doscuss it link" goes there. Of iy *doesn't* exist the user is invited to start one.

This API allows you to create any number of topics "on the fly" as people desire to discus them.
