I made the transition to Groupee but some of my users are having problems. It seems that if they had previously registered with my Community and their computer still has an old cookie stored, it will not let them get to the Groupee login screen. This happens even after they sign up for a Groupee account. I hate having to tell them to delete their cookies but as soon as they do they can log in without problem. Is there a way to avoid this?

Our site is having the same problems that you are describing except we currently have two members who can no longer access the groupee log in page after they deleted their cookies.
They get the log in page and when they type in their e mail address and password, they get nothing! I suggested they configure their IE security settings to accept 1st and 3rd party cookies, but they still can not log on to the site. Any suggestions? |

Quick update. The members who were unable to access the groupee log in page can now do so after they adjusted their privacy settings and allowed our site's address to handle cookies.
Both of these members are using AOL as their net provider. I wonder if there is a connection there. |

Hi, La Juliette:
There probably is.....we've been working with AOL for a long time, but it's been difficult. Good to know how you resolved your problems--other admins will benefit from this! |
