We are thinking about converting to Groupee and are wondering if it will allow us to authenticate for web pages within our main site as well as for our message board and chat. Most of our website is public but we have several pages that we have been using authentication for and would like to combine the two logins.

I imagine you should be able to accomplish this using the SimpleAuth API or Private Web Directories, even with Groupee.
