Hi theclam-

We are working on all of the previously mentioned Groupee Network changes/upgrades this month. Too early to say when you will see them, but I am hoping within the next 4-6 weeks. It's also possible you'll see some things phased in gradually over the next couple of months.

To recap the major Groupee Network related changes:

-- Groupee Network Login/Registration pages will inherit the site's eve style.
-- Support for additional languages: 3-4 alternate languages options will be added.
-- Easier Member Conversion Process: sites that are not currently using the Groupee Network that switch to it will have all members instantly converted so that there is no cumbersome process for users to go through to link old accounts to new.
-- Global Groupee Network Content Search: we'll be looking to add tools to allow someone to search for content across any site that is in the Groupee Network.

There are some other changes, but these are the most prominent.

How about allow us to see all the Groupee sites that we particplate/joined already?

It should help members going back to the sites that they visited before.

Also the ability to store the default profile field data would be good, so that we don't need to enter the same informaition again everytime.

I like the idea of being able to create a "default" profile as an option. I wouldn't require it, but when you register on groupee, it would be nice if there was a checkbox available that said "Apply this profile to all groupee sites".

Obviously, some sites will have custom fields, and some fields turned off, but for stuff like name, email, signature, location, etc.. if you enter that stuff once it would be nice if every other groupee site you joined, it would apply that to those as well if you choose to do so.

037- Yes, we will eventually be adding those types of options. I was just describing what was happening in the near term. Eventually, I think you can expect to see some kind of personal portal page that will include content from all of the Groupee Network communities where you are a member. That is likely not something we will get to until this summer/fall however.

Jeremy- profile synchronization is also on the drawing board for the future.

Rest assured that we have much bigger plans for the Groupee Network itself. You'll see more of those things as the year progresses hopefully. Our goal overall is to provide the very best platform and network for sites that are active communities, and also to provide complimentary services that can enhance the overall experience for the end users (members). Smile

Thanks for the information, Ted! Smile Everything sounds good!

I have a question (well, it maybe too early to ask anyway), for the next generation downloadable message board, i know that there will be a version using the Groupee login system. One thing I want to know is will the login/registration style also inherit our forum style for the downloadable product? Smile

One note: the global search feature is not going to be making it into the next Groupee release that I mentioned above. It is still on our to-do list, but it is bit more complicated than we originally thought and we are going to put it on the back burner for a bit so we can finish up the other Groupee changes.
