These issues for sites transitioning from non Groupee to Groupee will be handled. Basically, users will be able to associate any old (non groupee) account with a groupee account by entering the old account credentials.
You will not have to worry about having a unique email for your current users for this reason. Ted O'Neill Groupee CEO |

Ted: I am under the assumption that there is only one instance of Groupee (e.g. not one per site), so how will it handle a login name which might not be unique.
e.g. site1 has a user whose login name is Ted and site2 has a user whose login name is Ted, both want to use Groupee? Steven Benitez Code Guru, Groupee Engineering Groupee, Inc. |

Yes, groupee is a universal system and all groupee accounts DO have to be unique. The question, as I understood it, was about how non groupee accounts integrate with groupee. To be clear, if a site moves to groupee, all of that site's users will need to have unique groupee accounts.
The only issue for sites with existing non groupee accounts is how to merge those accounts with their users' new groupee accounts. We have a UI that will handle that for each user as they log into a new groupee-fied site. Ted O'Neill Groupee CEO |

Gotcha Ted, thanks for the clarification. I don't think the hampster was running full speed in the wheel upstairs.
