Does anyone have an example of a mail box or UBB that uses email? We would like to add this function to allow our usres to email one another.

Of course your users could just click on the email link in a post to email someone (uses their own email software).

Anything else would require a hack. There is a Private Messagin hack out there. I think it is probably more what you're after.
