I am trying to get some feedback from non members of my website/forum.

I figured the best way to do that is to solicit feedback from other site owners/ubb managers.

I would appreciate any and all feedback, positive and negative.

Your forums look great! Looks like you've got a healthy community growing!
I have a couple of suggestions for you - tell me what you think:
what if you changed the color of the category strip background to the same blue that you used on the left-hand navigation bar on your main lobby? And if you wanted to take that further, you could make the category text white - in the same fashion.
just a thought.

Great job, indeed! My only suggestion would be to consider changing the link color. It's way too bright for me and hurts my eyes after a while. I'd go with a darker blue, or maybe even a green of some kind to go with that khaki. Just a thought though, nice job anyway!

Wow, good action. You have lot of catagories. Do you find they're all frequented the same amount or could any be combined?

I apologize for not answering sooner, I was away and on a remote computer system, and couldn't access my own personal favorites.

I appreciate the comments that were given about the site.

Let me answer some questions and ask a few myself..

Kate -- Good suggestion, if it is too bright, it will turn people off as it would hurt sensitive eyses. I will get with the webmaster and see what the changes look like. I am sure your are right on about the blue and white. heck it was my high schools colors, it can't go wrong !!!!

Judd -- never really thought about that, are you talking about the links at the top of the forum or all links overall ? The hard part with this scheme is to keep colors meshed and still look good at the same time. I think your spot on about the brightness. I have my monitor on darker setttings, so never really noticed, the BRIGHTNESS !!!

Natalia -- To answer your question, no-- they aren't all frequented the same. It really depends on what sport is going on at the time. What I try to do is push the topics for sports out of season down the forum, and push up the topics for the sport in season. I would say football is the busiest time of the year for the forum, as the weather and the sport dictate that time of year.

Now as a general question to all....

What is missing ? What would you add if anything?

How can one improve traffic even more than what it is now. When I ask this, I am not looking for enter url in search engines, or advertise. I know some people have a sure fire way of doing it.

The website is listed in all the search engines you can think of. I think the only problem may be, is the name... I don't advertise or do banner links/exchanges due to the nature of the website.

Again, I thank everyone for responding and for those that viewed the website and didn't respond.

I have as of tonight added another exciting feature to the website called funbets...
