What are the laws as it relates to using [img] tags on bulletin boards? One board I was on, allowed us to post images, but then stopped. Something to do with copyright laws. Can a board operator be sued for allowing this?

I don't think so, but maybe it was a copyrighted image. I'm not sure about the rules regarding copyrights and someone posting them.

perhaps thats right. I know the board I use regularly had those conserns. But I though you had to be using the image for the purpose of selling a product. Otherwise, to me, you are just looking at a photo.
