Just wondering if there has ever been a comparison done by InfoPop between all our communities.

I'm not looking to swell my head (or be depressed), but I'd love to see a chart of stats from other OpenTopic sites normalized to my audience size.

Yes, I'm aware that different forums will have wildly different uses and that therefore there is a limit to the usefulness of such a comparison but it would still be useful.

For instance my site was very steady at 25% of members posting each month for about a year. Now it has slipped down to 21%. Should I be panacking? How does this figure compare with other forums? Does the %age usually decrease as the forum size grows?

Also my 3,000 users log nearly 10,000 hours usage per month. How does that compare? Is my site sticky in comparison to others?

Etc, etc.

TIA

We haven't put out any statistical information to date simply because that information belongs to each owner/administrator---we want to respect each site's right to disseminate (or not) its own tracking information.

This forum is a great place for community managers to share the stats they'd like to share for comparison purposes, though. Anyone else want to share percentages of members posting or hours of usage logged?
