I have just learned what that "little yellow flag" is all about and it applies to about half of my new members. Does this mean that they haven't clicked on the link to confirm their email address? If they haven't done this, does this limit their participation? Should I send a follow up email inviting them to verify their email or shall I just verify it for them. And, if I'm doing it as an administrator is there a way to do this in one, fell swoop?

If the yellow flag says "Email Not Verified" when you hover the mouse pointer over it, then you are correct. The member needs to verify their email account by clicking a link in a verification email that they should have received from us.
As to whether or not it limits participation, that depends on the settings for your community. Go to Groupee Community > Members > Registration Settings > Basic Settings tab. If "Verify Email Address" is checked, then a user will not be able to log until they have verified their email. Only they can verify the email for their Groupee Login account; admins cannot do it. If they cannot find the email (it may be in their junk mail folder), they can get another by logging in to account.groupee.com, then click the link in "Click here to resend a confirmation email." |
