What version of wwwthreads is faster under redhat linux using apache with mod_perl and mod_php?
Anyone know or got an opinion.
Which one should I install.
Is there anyway to bench mark there performance.

I would guess the php is faster. In addition to being faster, it has built-in MySQL support, which means there are far fewer steps involved with installing that version.

I'd go with php first, see how it goes.
