Hi, is it possible for a forum member without any special privileges to delete their own account. I had someone ask this and as the forum administrator I know that I can delete accounts but I couldn't find a way that members can do it on their own. I looked in Preferences, etc. but don't see it as an option.
Is it an option or setting that I can allow a member to self-delete their account? |

Hi, Peter Rabbit:
No, it is not possible for a regular member to delete their own account. The most they could do is to delete their own posts, and I believe that, if the post is a topic-starter, they cannot delete it. In order to allow a member to self-delete their account, they'd have to have access to your control panel, and we don't recommend that. |

Thank you very much for the answer, Lori! And your recommendation makes sense also. All the Best, Steve lakewoodbuzz.com |
