We're going to be putting the latest and greatest Oracle patch set on our Egypt database server. There are a couple of bugs we've been running into that Oracle reports may be fixed by this release - plus its always good to be current

The update will take about 2 hours, hopefully less. The update will commence at 2200 PDT tomorrow (Tues 1 October).

Later on in the week we'll post a schedule for updating the other databases (should be much quicker with those databases).

The database update went very smoothly. About 40 minutes outage in all. Let's see how the new patch level runs on our beta servers for a wee while.
