There will be an update of the beta server to 3.0.2 code on Friday afternoon. Little or no downtime is expected.

Issues addressed

- Custom Help Files corrected
- pre/post HTMl removed from popup windows
- consistent sizing applied to Forum title widths and last post column
- custom icon error fixed
- div that was breaking layout repositioned
- fixed errors caused by " characters in forum titles
- style editor image preloading fixed.
- added misc image sets for dark posting buttons and for more traditional folder based breadcrumbs

How has the release gone to UBB.x customers, the only production site i know that has it (but isnt yet using the new GUI) seems to have suffered somewhat in performance. It seems to be a little sluggish.

I'm reasonably pleased with the results. Performance-wise there was no significant increase in db response time. They are all plus/minus 25ms from one and two weeks ago before the update. The application is performing nicely.

There was a good collection of permutation related bugs -- not unexpected. For example our tests had not cover large title images or the " character in forum titles. There were also problems with layout that needed tweaks.

One performance issue I have an eye on is the speed with which new topic and reply windows load. I do find those slower, even though the application handles these actions in the same way between 2.x and 3.x. Otherwise, interpage loads and navigation are more or less as I've expected.
