There apparently was an issue with the Solaris arp cache on our webservers which kept them from talking to the new firewall. Once this was resolved, web based traffic resumed.

There is currently a problem with the mail/smtp service that is believed to be based on the same problem as above (bad arp cache). We are working toward resolving this problem even as this message is being posted.
