First, my apologies for the oversight, I should have notified this beforehand...

Second, if you are not running custom stylesheets, no need to read any further.

The Change
With the content islands we have changed the way we structure and store data relating to hot topics and featured polls.

The 2.1.2 release relected that change in the XML.

The location of the XML for the hot topics has moved, as has the location of the XML for the featured poll.

Also, the XML is only returned if the option "Show on the Categories and Forums Page" is enabled.

These changes were made for performance (to minimise what has to come back on the main page) and to relect the fact that there are now, not just one, but potentially many content islands on a site. Including many featured polls.

The old location was:
/DOC/SEARCH_RESULTS

The new location is:
/DOC/CONTENT_ISLANDS/CONTENT_ISLAND/SEARCH_RESULTS

Changes Needed To Custom XSL
To get things back the way they were, search and replace the old location with the new location.

Also, enable the "Show on the Categories and Forums Page"

The second option is to edit the content island stylesheet directly. This is a more involved task, but would give you access to to the other content island types - like newest members, community statistics, etc.

for letting us know about that....I noticed my HTI was empty..and after playing around with the new Content Island just couldn't get it to play nice with my own table code!

So I was just about to give up on that when I got the PopIt notification.

Ahhh, things back to normal and it's not even clocking off time wink
