During the 2.2 update last weekend we encountered a problem with our NFS file server on the Maya cluster.

It refused to let the app create new directories (needed for things like attachments and the web space content).

Well, we wrote up some diagnostic code and figured out what the problem was and ultimately implemented some workaround code.

This fix has been uploaded to the /4 Maya cluster and it looks like everything is again working as it should (here's hoping!).

Peter, thanks for fixing the attachment problem and it is working fine. However, since yesterday, a number of users have been complaining that the site has been giving them error messages. I got them a couple of times as well. It is on cluster 4 (carecure.atinfopop.com) and it come every few times... The server apparently thinks that the person is submitting a duplicate message when no message has been submitted. I copied the text of the error message and there was some code at the top. Looks as if the browser is not downloading the code completely.
