As a result of adding the new storage arrays Thursday May 8th we are rebuilding the new disks in a process called 'scrubbing'. This is a normal procedure and ensures an exact mirroring of the backup arrays. This is putting extra load on the servers and resulting in periodic slowdowns.

We apologize for the slowdowns and expect the process to be completed this afternoon. The system team is directly monitoring load and will make sure everything runs smoothly to completion.
