I've checked through the on-line documentation but I couldn't find any documentation on the specifics of adding new smilies (icons).

Do you have documentation on:

1. The 3 files in the CVS sub-directory? What are in the data fields in these files?

2. How/where do I associate new icon names, for example : cool_new : with a given icon.

3. Does the directory name CVS need to be all caps?

4. The icon file names in the 'Entries' file in the infopop/images1 directory are named icons files, while the icon file names in the 'Entries' file in the infopop/icons1 directory all have 'ICONn.gif' for the file name.

Can named files be used in my customized 'Entries' file in my new infopop/icons2 directory?

The particular 'Graemlins' are hardcoded into the app so there is not a place or documentation to associate [for example] :cool_eyes with a new icon. The current set can be seen in any posting form

You can customize and add to the *posting* icons in your Style section. The instructions for those changes are built into that part of the control panel.

This is an old topic. Since the time it was posted the functionality has been added to create new Graemlins (smilies).

In your control panel, go to Custom Graemlins.
