have you tried using plain old POST form code?

I could see a copy-paste from a source with different encoding bringing over issues with javascript. say, tabs, -'s, and the like.

I'm *still* receiving reports from members about this very issue. I do have an "open" support ticket on this...when can we expect it to "go away" totally. I simply do not know what to do to help my members when they say they cannot post a new TOPIC or New Poll.
