Hi. We are working on a 3.1 update. And that includes some search changes. I'm working on resolving those problems at the moment. So search should be working again shortly.

If you had a search URL that you were using, let me know, and I'll test it after the work is done.

I have a fairly large technical site on OT for building code discussions at: http://bcodes.infopop.net

Typically users click on FIND and enter a key word to find the discussions related to that key word.

Lately, this feature has been returning empty discussions (which does not make sense).

It states "The search is complete. No matches were found. "

The FIND feature is not filtering through the posts as it did in the past.

Hi Codex

We've found several sites where the site re-index and search are not working correctly. Having the URL as you've posted above is what we need. We'll fix it.

The FIND feature is still not working proberly.

On my forum, I have 10,000 post. Hundreds have the word "toilet".

If I searced for the word "toilet" using FIND, Im getting one or two finds only!!!

Something is not working. Previously, FIND would find all related posts.

Go ahead and try it: Here is the link,
http://bcodes.infopop.net/2/OpenTopic?a=srchf&s=541091073

type "toilet" and find. You will get one hit. There should be a lot lot more~~~

Please fix this and advise asap.

Many thanks.

Hi guys,

If you are having a specific problem with your site that needs fixing by us, then please open a trouble ticket so that we can address the issue specific to your site. This is the most efficient way to get these types of issues addressed.

You can open a trouble ticket here:

The best thing would be to Open A Support Ticket.

Hi. I am running a re-indexing on each of the sites. That will enable messages from before c. 3 March to be found. Give it a few hours, then check you search again. If there is a problem, post a search URL here and I'll double check the issue.
