My site (Delta-Force2.com) has just been taken offline because our UBB was too damned busy and consumed too much of the CPU! LOL

I applied for the beta test, when the annoucement went around, however was unsuccessful. If you would like another bulletin board to beta test, give me a bell I need to get my board back online, and would love to give OpenTopic a thorough testing.

Through my entire time of posting on the UBB forums (both at SK and the UBBCHH), I have respected your opinions. I hope you've respected mine, and I wish you will continue to. However, Open Topic does _not_ suck.

The amount of flexability and customization that is offered is unprecedented. Never before have I been able to so easily change any aspect of any specific forum. Yes, I am a beta tester. And yes, I will be putting in the good word for Open Topic simply because, it deserves it. Ted, Peter, Michael, Brett, Rosemary, and anyone else at Infopop should be given a pat on the back for creating such a kick-ass product.

I hope, that one day, you will give Open Topic a chance. The XML integration is nothing but helpful, and I have no doubt that its a better product that UBB.

Please, know what you're talking about before you start with the flames. You haven't used the Open Topic admin interface, so you are completely speaking out of nothing.

In the past you've thought out your opinions, and have actually looked into the material. But in this case, it appears you've done neather. Please, hold off your opinions until you've tried it.
