There's a pile of things in this thread of mine over here that I was told that were to be incorporated into OT. Of all the things on that page, the one thing that I want in here more than any other is this one:

'Moderator approval' for new members can be set -- and the admin receives a notice when he/she logs in to the OT control panel. Would this do it? It's not email but it does the same thing.

No - I just want an email when someone logs on - I DO NOT want to have to approve them.

Just email me when someone creates a new user account. If it's not there, I will have a problem - I NEED this feature given the nature of the 13 year old jackasses who sign up for my board.

It's not there Joe. I'll add it to my todo list (its a pretty small change).
No guarantee on a release date as I have a log of 'pretty small changes' on my list.

Re member management. OpenTopic allows you to manage your membership in a number of ways. As michael says, you can turn on membership moderation. You can ban registrations from a certain IP address. You can ban emails. You can require people to have unique emails. You can require people to confirm their emails (via an email sendout).

Argh - I know what Michael said. That is not useful for me. I don't want to have to approve.

I just want to be notified via email when someone new signs up. Nothing more. It's very simple.
