If you don't have your own web page then you don't insert any picture in UBB. For example if you want to insert the picture of your skin rash problem then there is no option available to show skin area to other community member via this bb.

Secondly you can not insert picture from free web host server like http://www.geocities.com

Is this bandwidth problem or you have blocked inserting picture from free web pages intentionaly.

firstly: http://community.infopop.net/6/ubb.x?a=cfrm&s=729094322&f=6473017213 is the ubb support section. It's the ideal place for ubb questions

Secondly, it's the free providers doing the blocking, not infopop. It's been this way for a couple of years now at least. (they block linking to any page besides their own, not just forums)

As flyingember indicated, the blocking of images from certain servers (geocities, tripod, etc.) is out of Infopop's control. UBB.x, UBB.threads, and OpenTopic all have file upload features, which allow you to attach images to a topic.

I'm not sure which product you are looking into, but Infopop has four different message board topics:
UBB.classic
UBB.threads
UBB.x
OpenTopic
