We have not noticed any major performance degradations today. Has the user tried doing any speed tests or tracing the route to the boards from the personal computer.

I just had to respond to this.

While I appreciate your offering up this suggestion to help, the majority of users I encounter all day have no idea how to begin to "test their speed" or "trace their route" to the boards. These are nice folks who need help changing their avatar, or assistance using the "quote" feature on the boards.

They just want the boards to "work" for them, and not have me tell them it is their fault it isn't.

Just my .02 cents. I cringe when I get messages like David Smith received....
