I now have had multiple users never recieve the email they need to confirm their account.

Whether this is on OTs end or their own I don't care.

What I care about is how can they rerequest it or atleast how can admin resend it?!

I searched everywhere for this feature and now the discussions here and find no answer?

Please tell me this is somewhere?!

If they change their email OpenTopic will send another confirmation email (to the new email address).

Get them to change it to a random email then back to their proper email.

I think you have to select the "Confirm E-mail Address" feature to send the confirmation E-mails

Best thing is that even if the E-mail address is incorrect, Infopop sends a meassage to the Admin telling you the address is invalid!

Metro - obviously - that is not my question.

The users just never rec'd. the email...whereas all others did.

I can't believe this is the solution?! How unprofessional is it to tell someone to do that!? Why not just put a link allowing Admin to resend it?!!

Dorian we will certainly look at implementing your suggestion in the future.

In the meantime, I provided a workaround for right now.

The email feature has been working without problems lately, so it may be possible the user just entered an invalid email address and so never received the confirmation email.

This is kind of laborious. I have a member that can not confirm his e-mail address. I asked him to send me the confirm. He insists that he is clicking on the link and is still having problems. Obviously he is receiving the e-mail. Why go through the extra steps of having the person send it on to the admin to verify that the e-mail confirm is in fact not working? Are there any plans to allow the admin the ability to confirm an e-mail? It seems to me that would be a much easier solution....just allow the admin to confirm if there is a problem.

Hello Eric,

This is something that we added to the Eve application (which is the evolution of OpenTopic). Unfortunately the OpenTopic application is currently in a code freeze and we have no plans of adding new features to the application. We have processes in place for upgrading from OpenTopic to Eve if you are interested in doing that.

These forums are running on the Eve application.
