I have one catagory and about 10 forums within this catagory. How would i go about just emailing the folks that have posted in a particular forum? thank you, john

Do you have a large membership?

The only way I can see to do this would be to note the names of the people who have posted in that forum. Then go to your control panel,under Member Management.
Click the box next to each member on your list.
Scroll to the bottom, and on the drop downmenu (Choose a Member Management Taskchoose Mass Email selected members.
You'll get a screen with a box for you to input your message, and you can send it from here.

This forum is very nice and I too have one category of forums..

What is the criteria for banning folks in a forum? Why are e-mails so impersonal, and never seem to address a specific enquiry?

The criteria for banning is up to the administrators of the board. We provide the software, but we do not moderate the Channel 4 boards. I'd suggest that you ask on the Channel 4 forums, but I suspect you can't because you've been banned?
