Hi. It looks like the /1 cluster is clearing a backlog of work after a server outage this morning. I'll keep an eye on it in case it doesn't clear up shortly.

Thanks for the profile update!

I took another look. The backlog (mostly the email notification queue) has been cleared out, and I see response times have smartened up.

I've also made a small code change so that in future working through backlogs won't put so much of strain on the whole cluster.

There was also a problem with the caching today, for a good part of the day the cache was not being used. Anyways its all better now, so you should see speed improve.

I will reply for jern today. I am currently using a T1 and it feels like a 28.8 on our boards. I tried to pull community information and get the following message:

Our database is currently unavailable. Our service hosts are currently working on our database. We apologize for the inconvenience. Please try again later.




I don't think this is just me but there is no reason our site should be this slow for me while other sites are very fast that I frequent.

Edit I just got the above error going from one page to another within our boards. What is going on?

There was a servlet that lost connection with the database, I have corrected its problem and it should all be well now. Please let me know if it is still a problem.

Is it still slow? I restarted a servlet for the aztec (/1) cluster that was not behaving nicely. Things should be better, but I will let you be the judge of that.

still real slow. not only is it slow but we are getting weird stuff with our pages. the pages are coming out all red for some users instead of just the background being red. browser and platform doesn't seem to matter. Something is going on on aztec.
