switch from a UBB classic platform to the new groupee. I'm afraid of making a switch, but have liked what I've seen here.

The First Step would be to upgrade to the latest 6.7.x release of UBB.classic.

Don't be afraid! We have successfully converted LOTS of UBB.classic boards over to Groupee Community.

During the import process, forum names, category names, member profiles and post content are imported.

Here is the list of what is NOT imported: private messages, content islands, styles, graphics, custom fonts, language changes/wordlets, notifications, site-wide display and permission settings, and most forum-specific settings.

Also, your conversion to Groupee Community would mean your inclusion in our Groupee Network, our universal login system. Members would be issued logins and passwords in an email. In most cases, the password would be the same as their current password.
