Groupee CEO |
As we announced previously , we changed our company name from Infopop to Groupee. Within the next 2-3 weeks, you'll be seeing a new web site at Groupee.com that serves as our new primary site. (The current infopop.com site will remain, but will become a pointer to our new site.)
The primary motivation behind this name change was to consolidate our branding as much as possible. Because of this, we will also be changing the name of our hosted community platform, eve, to Groupee Community. This change will be formalized in around the same time frame as the release of the new web site. The formal name changes will appear as part of the 1.2.10 release of that service. So, as I've noted elsewhere, with the lack of any other explanation I am assuming you are refocusing your brand toward more of a teen fan site product. Any suggestions on where we can move more professional eve forums?

Hi Steve- not true at all. Not sure why we are giving that impression, but our service levels/plans will not be changing. We have quite a large number of enterprise customers and are adding more.
