Hey there! I'm sorry for the delay in responding!
It would be helpful to know which software you're using, and whether you want the banner across the top/side of one forum, all of your forums, or just on the front page of the forums. You can also put graphics/banners within the forum description area on the main categories and forums page. Lots of options! Just let me know what exactly you're trying to do, and I can walk you through it easily |

Sure thing! I see you've got an eve community, so I'll base my instructions on that. Here's the easiest and quickest way to add a banner to your main community page:
1. Upload your .gif to your webspace (let me know if you need help with that part) 2. Go into your eve control panel and click UBB.x in the left navigation 3. Click Master Settings 4. In the box that says "Summary Page Intro," you can place HTML code that will put the banner (or anything else, like a table, rotating gif, etc.) at the top of your main categories and forums page. 5. Don't forget to click the "Save Settings" button! Check your main page to make sure it appears the way you wish. Please let me know if I can help further |

Rosemary, I don't suppose you could help me out on that question...
I run the messageboard community at http://www.cinescape.com Were using a Infopop 6.0.3 version. One of the largest complaints were getting is we can't theme the individual forums with banners themed with the title of that forum... Is there way to get individual banners on each forum within our community..on this version were using and if so, how? Thanks, Jarrod Sarafin Admin at http://messageboard.cinescape.com/cinescape/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php?Cat= |

Hi Jarrod!
First, since you're running UBB.threads, I'd like to show you where we have our UBB.threads community, so you can get more help and advice from fellow UBB.threads users: http://www.ubbcentral.com/boards/ubbthreads.php Also, I believe that what you'd like to do is add individual banners to the top of each forum? If so, these instructions online will help you get that done: http://www.ubbcentral.com/support/docs/ubbthreads/UBBTadmin.html#_Toc80168361 This doc is the Admin Guide for UBB.threads, and it's for the current version, so please let me know if your version doesn't look as described in the instructions...it's been a while since I've been inside a version 6.0.3 Hope you had good holidays! |

Hi!
So is the groupee logo not showing up even when you're logged in? It should be there by default. Looks like you are using the "jingle bells" style for your forums. In order to make the forums match your website more closely, you could go into Groupee Community>>Display>>Settings; click Create Style and choose a style to base your new one on. Use style editor to choose colors and fonts that more closely match your site's design. Please let me know if you need any additional help accomplishing this! |

Hi, senthu.
These boards are for questions about Groupee's product, eve. We don't have any information about phpbb. Your best bet is to find a support community for your product. My guess is that a quick search for phpbb and "support" will point you in the right direction. Paul Gude Groupee Guide |

I am also having a banner problem at http://midwestpredator.groupee.net/eve
I am just the designer, so I don't know the interface all that well. JRBHunter, the owner, would like our banners at top centered. We can not figure out how to center the banners. Also is there a way to have the banners autosize to screen resolutions? I don't think there is, but just to be sure. |

That didn't work, whenever he put that in the spot for the banner it just showed up blank. He says it just asks for a spot to put the banner.

As stated before, I do not have Admin privileges, so I cannot see what Jrbhunter is working with. He tried putting the center commands where there is a textbox asking for an image url for a banner. That did not work. I believe he will have to enter the custom html area, but where does he put the center commands there.

Go to the control panel > Display > Settings > Go to the display that you wish to change and click edit. Then go to Custom HTML and in the second box down. Insert your code there and save.
This is my code for my banner and it is stored on Photobucket so you know what it looks like. Hope this helps! If he needs more help have him send me a email at Webmaster@smithandwessonforums.com and I will call him and walk him through it. <center><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v350/daveht/Banner/Test01.jpg"></a></center><br></br> |
